Parents to update the following ‘forms’ in the TASS Parent Orbit App annually before the school year starts:
- Local Excursion Permission – is where you consent to your child participating in school activities and excursions within a 3km radius of RedGum by foot. A common example of this is supervised class nature walks at the local golf course across the road or a cross country run.
- Media Consent is in three sections –
- School Community – permission given for your child’s photo or recording to be used within the school community in any of the following ways:
- for display in school classrooms, on noticeboards etc
- in principal updates or class teacher communications
- to support student’s health and wellbeing (eg photographs of violin bow grip to assist correction)
- Website & Print Media – permission given for your child’s photo or recording to be used on the RedGum website, “The Penny” newsletter and in newspaper articles about the School and/or advertising of the School
- Social Media – permission given for your child’s photo or recording to be used on the RedGum social media accounts
- School Community – permission given for your child’s photo or recording to be used within the school community in any of the following ways:
- Bus Use – RedGum-Castlemaine bus service route.
School Bus bookings can be made HERE. Please submit prior to the school year or term starting, noting that priority will be given to full-time users.
- SCAS forms – please check your eligibility Information about the Student Conveyance Allowance System [SCAS] and submit your completed form to the office, submitting a new form if there is an address or mode of transport change
